Marie

While Marie was growing up, running was not a popular sport.  You always ran to play a sport.  She did not start running until she was an adult.  After numerous 5 and 10Ks Marie decided to take running and fitness seriously and began training for longer distances and racing events.  Her largest accomplishment to date was completing the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this past fall.  In addition to running, Marie has also completed sprint distance triathlons.

After 18 years, Marie left her corporate job to focus on other endeavors.  She currently coaches elementary school running club, cross country, and basketball.  Marie will soon begin her new adventure of becoming certified in Pilates.    In Marie’s spare time, she loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her young daughter and husband.
